Recycled precious metals
Our collections are crafted from recycled sterling silver, recycled 9ct gold and recycled 18ct gold vermeil (2.5 microns). Each metal is refined to meet the highest standards of purity and durability.
By choosing recycled materials, we reduce reliance on newly mined resources while maintaining the quality expected of enduring jewellery. Sustainability is not a trend for us — it is a standard.
Gold vermeil
Many SOPHIE ANNA designs are finished in recycled 18ct gold vermeil (2.5 microns) — a thick layer of 18ct gold over a recycled sterling silver base. This approach allows us to create high-quality gold jewellery with reduced environmental impact compared to newly mined gold.
Our gold vermeil pieces are designed for longevity and can be professionally re-plated over time if ever required.
Ethical sourcing
Our freshwater pearls and gemstones are sourced through partners who prioritise transparency, traceability, and responsible supply chains. We work with suppliers who align with our values of environmental care and ethical production.
