What is SOPHIE ANNA jewellery made of?
Every piece is crafted from certified recycled precious metals — 925 sterling silver, 18k gold vermeil, or 9k solid gold. Our gold vermeil starts as recycled sterling silver, plated with a thick layer of 18k gold.
What is gold vermeil?
Gold vermeil is a sterling silver base plated with a thick layer of gold — ours is 18k. It's a considered step up from gold-plated jewellery: the gold layer is significantly thicker, so it's far less likely to fade or wear through with normal care.
Where is my SOPHIE ANNA jewellery made?
The SOPHIE ANNA studio is based in Sutton, NSW, where Sophie designs and creates every collection, alongside a small team of skilled artisans.
How do I care for my SOPHIE ANNA jewellery?
Each piece is handcrafted and asks for a little care in return. Avoid wearing it to swim, bathe, or shower, and wipe it down after each wear before storing it in its SOPHIE ANNA pouch or box.
Sterling silver and solid gold: buff gently with a polishing cloth to lift dirt or tarnish.
Gold vermeil: clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry fully before wearing again. Skip harsh chemicals, jewellery cleaners, and polishing cloths — they affect the finish.
Fit & Sizing
What if I don't know my ring size?
Email us and we'll send a ring sizing tool, or measure at home: wrap a piece of string around the finger, mark where it meets, then measure the length against our ring size chart. If your ring has a particularly wide band, it's often better to size up.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally? Do I pay tax?
Yes — every order ships from our Sutton, NSW studio. Some countries apply duty or tax on import, collected by the postal service on delivery; SOPHIE ANNA isn't responsible for these costs. How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders leave our Sutton, NSW studio within 1–2 business days. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with your delivery details and tracking reference.
Returns, Refunds & Repairs
What if I'd like to return or exchange an item?
If something's not quite right, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund, exchange, or store credit. Full details are on our Refunds & Exchanges page.
How will I receive my refund?
Refunds are issued to your original payment method once your return is processed, for the merchandise value — shipping costs aren't refundable. Allow 5–7 business days for it to reach your account.
Can I change my order after it's been placed?
Email info@sophie-anna.com as soon as possible. We can't guarantee a change once an order is processing, but we'll always try to help.
What if my SOPHIE ANNA jewellery needs to be repaired?
Email info@sophie-anna.com with the details — every repair is different, so we'll advise once we understand what's happened. Gold vermeil can fade over time depending on how it's worn and cared for; we offer re-plating for a small fee. You'll cover the cost of shipping the piece back to us.
